This - I saw these at a recent Rolex event and they are even more offensive in the metal, not a single person tried any of them on the whole evening.

I guess that Rolex were worried that ICE watch were eroding their market.
Gaudy tacky cheap bling, but without the cheap.

They really should have done them as Frozen or Ben10 special editions. Spangly colours and finish would appeal to that age group.

No worse than the normal, look at me I've a Gold Rolex watch To me all Rolex are that bit too showy and look at me. Having said that, all I know about watches is they tell the time

I've yet to see a watch with precious stones that appealed.

I'd normally agree with you Andy. However, since attending the Patek exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in the Summer, this has remained a guilty pleasure. It was fantastic in the flesh/metal as were the rose gold Nautilii with gem set bezels.

Patek only made a handful of these a year or two back. They still have one that I saw at their exhibition. One sold for $341,000 at auction last year.
