Hi all, I have a Baume and Mercier Riviera Automatic that I'm going to sell. Before I do I wanted to know if the lack of the booklet affects the value to any great degree ?

I have the original box (it was bought in Dubai) but that is it. It isn't a particularly fancy watch so didn't know if the lack of a booklet would have as much of an impact ?

Do you have the original warranty / authenticity card stamped etc? If you have no papers at all it will affect value.

I've had a good look over the last few days but can't find the book or my original bill of sale.

Would a trader touch a watch without those? Understandable if not.

Dealers will defo take it. They'll check it's authentic, kill you on the price, then sell it on with their own certificate of authenticity that they printed off using Word. If you're trading it in, you'll get a better deal.
