Bell and Ross straps
Discussion
I'm very happy with my BRS and one of the reasons I bought it was due to the rubber strap. But, I would like to try it with the leather strap although as I'm not 100% on whether I'd like it, aren't overly keen spending £270 on an official one just yet. There's some cheap versions flying around on eBay for under £30, but are for the BR01 and 03 models.
Based on the descriptions, measurements seem the same but does anyone know if the straps for the BR01 and 03 are the same as the BRS?

I can't directly help, but I'd give the Bell & Ross London Boutique a call on 020 7629 6464 to find out for sure. However if you do find yourself after a new B&R strap, then contact Dom H at www.hackettwatches.com for a good price. He supplied me with a genuine B&R BR02 strap ... and a year previous, the BR02-94 itself!
By the way, there are varying degrees of B&R leather strap for the BRS. The £280 strap is alligator. However the calf skin leather variants are £60-80 without buckle.

Great stuff, cheers for that. By the way, there are varying degrees of B&R leather strap for the BRS. The £280 strap is alligator. However the calf skin leather variants are £60-80 without buckle.

The BRS and B|R01 are both 24mm across the lugs but the straps are different. The BRS is straight after the lugs where the BR01/03 has a step outward to line up with the outside of the lug.
No reason I can see why a BR01 strap wouldn't fit though.
I'll give one of the eBay ones a whirl at £30 then, thanks. No reason I can see why a BR01 strap wouldn't fit though.
So got the strap from eBay, clearly not an original but still good quality. Unfortunately doesn't fit my BRS, as the buckle end is 24mm whereas mine is 18mm. Hard to tell whether it will suit it, it's quite a chunky old strap compared to the BRS face. So ordered a 24mm buckle for £10, just to see what it looks like more than anything.
http://www.gasgasbones.com/ had a couple from their leather and nylon always good quality and made to measure.
