Or more likely its been opened by someone useless or badly made new. For 15 k new Id want things to line up front or back.
They aren't screws, they are threaded bolts, they line up on the front because it's a hex head in a hex hole.
And they don't align on the back because they are tightened to a set torque for water resistance.
It is near impossible to design a thread and bolt and get them all to line up
Thank God somebody gets it.

Not the watch they claim to be. Sure anyone can radius the end of a screws flats but how many ensure things are tightened up to look symmetrical.
Expensive watches are 90% marketing. People buy them as they want to be associated with success but the only thing they excel at is marketing in many cases. The products are near useless.
I can tell a huge quantible difference in quality between a Seiko and my Omega and then my Omega and my Rolex. HUGE. Even the weight of the thing itself all the way to the brilliance of the clasp on the Rolex.

AP or PP's are another step above!

You just sound like a poor person who can't afford one and therefore slags them off and the people who buy them out of pure jealousy.

Not true. I own a 18k white gold Rolex president, Rolex air king, omega sea master bond, omega sea master auto chrono , Junghans max bill, numerous Seiko, casios. I'd buy a patek or ap if I thought they were any good. Sadly I've come to the conclusion that above the sea master value for money is very poor. I bought my sea master new in 2002 and it was a stonking deal at under 900quid for what is a superb and very solid watch. Today omega is overpriced and not as well styled. The Rolex and chrono bought used but unused for good money. If buying new now I would buy longines , Junghans, or oris. All top styled, vfm machines. You are right about one thing, Seiko are well made but poorly engineered and feel cheap they could be so much better for a little more in cost.

Seriously?
You think PP and AP make bad watches?
Ever owned one? Or handled one?
I've owned AP and PP, comparing them to my Rolexes and Omegas, they are far better made in finish and materials used.

Stating that luxury goods are 'overpriced' is a nonsense, they wouldn't be luxury goods if they sold them in Aldi!

As to your Seiko comment that if they spent a little more and sold for a slightly higher price, they'd be better, is plain stupid, they are built to a budget for a certain price range. And how can you have something well made but poorly engineered? That's a contradiction
If you want a 'perfect' Seiko buy a GS

I never said ap or pp make bad watches. Far from it I'm sure. Ive not handled any ap or pp but looked at their brochure and of course in the windows. They don't sell anything I would want. Too much money. Why not charge 30k for a '15k' ap or pp ? Who sets the price and regulates them on it? I suppose whoever buys them has to justify their purchase but then again its just something else to piss money away on. No shortage there-property, boats, cars, holidays, women, etc

So you 'know' these 2 brands from pictures and window shopping. All you can really say is, that they do not appeal to you aesthetically, anything else is just opinion without experience.

Oh, the makers set their own prices ,no one regulates them as they are luxury watches and not essential utilities like gas or electricity

Is that why their owners have to come on forums like this to scream about how wealthy they are and to deride the poor people who can't afford them?

That said, this:

is clearly an opinion and whilst everyone is perfectly entitled to their own opinion, this particular opinion ain't exactly one of an expert.

Not just this forum or even this thread. There are lots of "experts" willing to give their ill-informed advice.
