Nice one Chris – can’t beat a bit of PanoMaticness, especially the Lunar.

New beater arrived today. Very pleased with it. Came to the office in the fun car today too, so the picture is bang in line with the spirit of the cars & watches theme.

Nice leather airbag option on the 996.

I think it had every leather option ticked. For a car approaching it's 16th year and on its 13th owner (has been a little unlucky) it has worn exceedingly well.

I've not got much in the way of expensive watches, which is why I've never posted anything in here before.

But this one...

...whilst being a bit battered about, has, happily, started keeping time again for some reason. I tweaked the spring on the back of the battery cover a bit, and it didn't need a new battery after all.

The damage that's visible is despite the work done when it went in for a service and some new bits inside (contacts, I think) and the 'glass' was even polished - it was far worse before the work was done. Happy that it's back on my wrist again though. The date of issue on the back is 1988, although I haven't had it quite that long.

Chris - we need an SOTC post from you.

1 Because it would be nice to see that awesome collection

and

2 So when our wives moan about our watch spending we can say "you think I'm bad, check out this guy"

Is this the Chris who also has the Richard Mille's etc etc? If so, I'd love to see a snap of the whole collection!

I don't know what you've done to mangle that link, but is this what you meant to post?

Hmm the powers of observation and attention to detail are not strong in you lot. tongue out

You seem to have confused me with a certain chris5150 now known as Emonda03.

chris5150 has quite a few Richard Mille watches - I personally do not like them but it would be boring if we all liked the same watches. From the photos he has posted, his collection includes lots of very expensive timepieces not just confined to Richard Mille.

Here is one of his RM watches - this watch alone cost more than my whole collection. eek
