The bracelet is a work of art on the VC Overseas and is very very comfortable.
It would have probably helped me if you'd lied and said it was terrible TBH wink

Sorry - hopefully this additional information will help you a little more wink
I am fortunate enough to have quite a wide selection of watches including these

Overall, the VC bracelet is the best of the Holy Trinty and the VC puts up a good fight against the other two
Why -
1. The bracelet is very comfortable - the PP is next with the AP last as it has sharp edges which can trap your arm hairs.
2. The AP bracelet is the one that stands out the most of the three bracelets. When you move your wrist the different facets of the AP bracelet catch the light and sparkle. The VC is probably the next as it has the polished cutouts which also catch the light. The Maltese cross emblem spokes on the watch bezel also catch the light. The PP bracelet has the polished centre links but does not sparkle in light changes like the other two do.
3. The clasp operation on the VC is the best of the three and the way the clasp fits together with the Maltese Cross design joining the two bracelet halves is quality. The AP is probably next. The PP has a very different clasp to the others and appears less well engineered. Unclasping the PP bracelet, involves using your nails to raise the clip which goes over the join which is fiddly.
4. The VC bracelet has a brushed finish and in my experience is much harder wearing than the other two. I don't know what VC do to their brushed finish but it seems remarkably resistant to scuffs and scratches. The other two are much easier to scratch and scuff and it shows. It helps that the polished surfaces on the VC bracelet are in cutouts and difficult to scratch.
The same ruggedness seems to apply to the bezels. Even though I wear the VC far more than the others and I wear it snorkelling, swimming etc it so far has avoided marks on the bezel. The AP and PP are by comparison much less rugged.
5 The blue enamel dial of the VC whilst not having the same intricacy of dial as the AP or PP does look superb and the big double digit date works very well compared to the other two. Lume is best on the VC too.
6. Timekeeping wise they all keep excellent time. The PPs are the most accurate but the VC even though it uses a slower rate mechanism keeps excellent time as does the AP.
7. The PP and AP have display backs whereas the VC does not. Both the PP and AP mechanisms are superbly finished. However, my feeling is VC mechanism is the most rugged.
8. Pricewise the VC is much cheaper than the PPs and is around the same price as the AP.

Hosedoctor, are you the guy that years ago used to turn up to the TVR meet in Essex for the convoy?

hehe pretty good mate, see you're doing ok - or just spunking it all on fancy watches!

Seriously impressive those Richard Mille watches. Even if you don't like the way they look, the materials and construction is bloody amazing.

Thanks mate, I have to admit they are a bit marmite but I like them so I guess that's all that matters? You still in Essex?

Ahem! The thread title is “Wrist Check”, not “Hernia Check” – so if you two want to ask each other to “cough please", go and get a room.

A recent gift, presumably to commiserate me reaching a quarter-of-a-century, from very generous parents:

One of my two favourite watches, but seeing as the other is the new everose Yacht-Master, this was a much more realistic birthday present. I like this because it comes in 38mm, which suits my rather feminine wrists!

Grail watch for me, which was a present from my wife. Only downside is that it means I've hit the big 4-0!

Purchased through our very own Dom, who was apparently a superstar and a pleasure to deal with.
