Grail watch for me, which was a present from my wife. Only downside is that it means I've hit the big 4-0!

Purchased through our very own Dom, who was apparently a superstar and a pleasure to deal with.
Nice watch. There's a 40th anniversary for sale in a shop near me and I'm trying to convince the other half that we need it in our (my) lives. She seems to have other ideas about the garden, holiday and family bus replacement but I'm still pushing the agenda...

So today marks the day that my grail was achieved, to grab all three modern interpretations of the 1957 Omega masters collection. My first little one is due in January so after today, my money is no longer mine! eBay is now reserved for the next grail - some kind of posh pushchair.

I'm stoked - and it just so happens with the versatility of the three, these make up my "if you could only have three watches" kind of conversations.

Good luck to everyone trying to achieve their grails!

Speedmaster on NATO for me today with this hot weather.

A recent gift, presumably to commiserate me reaching a quarter-of-a-century, from very generous parents:

One of my two favourite watches, but seeing as the other is the new everose Yacht-Master, this was a much more realistic birthday present. I like this because it comes in 38mm, which suits my rather feminine wrists!
Happy birthday son smile I thought about getting us both an Everose YachtMaster - one in 37mm for you and another in 40mm for me. I thought about it for ages before realising that such a purchase would undoubtedly result in an involuntary vacation of the marital home and coming to live with you. I thought about it for precisely 0.68 seconds, which for a Rolex fan, is nearly an eternity. wink

On the CW, how is the bezel marker at 9 o'clock lined up, but the 3 o'clock isn't? Parallax?

I can create the same effect, but in reverse, so must be parallax. It must be the depth between bezel and face, I assume your sub will do the same.

ETA: I dropped my phone and now all the photos are over-exposed and soft... Oops.

I like U-Boats but I'm struggling a bit with that one. Doesn't look like it'd be easy to tell the time at a glance and I'm guessing it is about 47-50mm

What .. behave, Your mobile phone is for checking the time,
Um yes black on black with the huge glass area means a careful study is needed, The chrono small dials are a complete no no,
I'd write at almost 50 maybe I should take a precautionary trip to the opticians - but that'd be too easy for you lot biggrin

You could definitely kill a medium-sized adult man with that thing if you threw it with enough gusto.
