You *could* have got a Porsche wheel from a breaker and a looky-looky special from Torremolinos, if you wanted. That's how I do mine. Nobody remarks on a Nardi-Seiko combination though!

Credible rumours about a price rise on 1 November pushed me into finally making a decision and buying this:

Inspired by the 365 Days Without Drinking thread in the Health forum I gave up drinking four years ago. I paid for this with the money I've saved over that time bounce

That is really nice, was looking at that same watch on the Rolex site a while back. Good choice.

After a long wait (bought on 30 Jan), my Marloe has finally arrived. For those who don't know, Marloe was started via Kickstarter back in January. Delivery was originally scheduled for June. I've got to say i really like it! I think some others on here will be getting theirs soon too.
I bought a couple, black arrived first, hopefully get my white one soon. In fact I think I ordered them after seeing them on here. I love the back of it!

Gave the black one to my best man as a gift on my wedding day. Great looking watch for the money!

How are you guys getting on with your Marloe watches?

I was tempted by the white faced one.

I've been wearing mine a lot since it arrived and i've got nothing but praise for it. It keeps time very well (a few seconds fast), has a good power reserve and has an overall feel not far below that of some more expensive watches. Not least of all the leather strap which feels like it should last, whereas the one on my Zenith fell apart within a few years. So in that sense it was good value for money.

The only point i'd mention is that it's quite wide, which may or may not be an issue for you. That aside, if you like the look then i'd say go for it!

I was a bit concerned about it being a bit dinner plate size from reading the specs on their website but from the photos posted here it seems fairly usable.

Miffed I missed out on the Kickstarter price really, but I see from their newsletter this week they have another round for a new model next year so might invest in one of those.

I like the company approach from Marloe.

This seems OK for £100. It came with a bracelet too but it was too small.

I won't mind this getting battered to hell at work - that's its only purpose to me
