Nice tactic. No one will steal that car. I have the same strategy with my station bicycle, could almost leave it unlocked and no one would nick it!

If someone did steal it I doubt they would make it round the first corner.

It's a bit crap.

Here's a thing.

Worth pennies but more valuable to be than the Batman.

17th birthday present from Dad (30 years ago). He's now long gone, but I still have this. We went together to get it on the morning of my 17th from the shop, and then he let me drive the BMW home with L plates on as a surprise.

Happy days never to be repeated. Wore it all the way through first kiss, A levels and University.

Pulsar Quartz Sub (1986) - still going strong and still the most accurate watch I own.

Love ya Dad beer

I like it too, Normally as a rule I hate bi-colour Rolex I think they look nasty and OTT but that is really subtle.

Great story.
The fact that you didn't have your first kiss until after you were 17 explains a lot as well!

The springbar failed on the watch my father bought me - it had done it a few times previously and I didn't attend to it. Then one day it must have happened again and I hadn't noticed.

Everytime I choose the watch to wear in the morning I think about it.
