Here's a thing.
Worth pennies but more valuable to be than the Batman.
17th birthday present from Dad (30 years ago). He's now long gone, but I still have this. We went together to get it on the morning of my 17th from the shop, and then he let me drive the BMW home with L plates on as a surprise.
Happy days never to be repeated. Wore it all the way through first kiss, A levels and University.
Pulsar Quartz Sub (1986) - still going strong and still the most accurate watch I own.
Love ya Dad

Mine says hello! Bought it myself thirty years ago and still going strong. I remember it cost me £49.99, which was nearly a weeks wages then. The black rubber strap it came on has long since gone but it does suite the nato quite well.Worth pennies but more valuable to be than the Batman.
