Lorne, I still have your site bookmarked in my favourites and will have one of these off you one day.
Me too but I really want a black or blue dial........?
I did experiment with a black dial version, but it just didn't look right. Blue would probably be really nice, but being an engineer my whole life is black and white so colour is a bit scary! (Black and white, and of course many shades of grey, snigger)

Bought a 80s soviet watch just for sts and giggles. It was running a bit slow, so I regulated it and it's about +2 seconds a day from what I can tell. Cost me 30quid.

Huawei Watch. I have a choice of literally thousands of dials!

I'll take some more pics later with some other dials and post them up if you like.

I have a spare phone by them, looks good. A bit like the Tag connect.

Photo of the rotor if the case back is see though, thanks.

I'm currently explaining to my son the difference between Auto/mech wind/quartz/solar/ etc, so that would make a good learning tool to take to bits.

You couldn't buy that strap from Timpsons for a tenner, you get it all for a tenner delivered from China, how do they do it?

It is connected, no it's not going to China. It's Google's Android Wear, I think they'd notice if stuff was amiss. Besides, EVERYTHING is made in China these days anyway...

Also Huawei are now the 4th largest(?) mobile manufacturer in the world - they wouldn't be able to get away with it.

I think you need to put the tin foil away. Most of BT Openreach runs on Huawei switching so if anything nefarious were going on it's all happening there anyway. Which it isn't.
