Thanks! It's one of the few watches I've owned or seen that pretty much suits any strap type!
Monochromatic watches are ideal for strap changes.

Its been a few weeks since I got this Z-Blue Milgauss, and I still love it, I find I'm wearing it pretty much all the time. There is one problem though, many times I've glanced down to check the time, then thirty seconds later had to look again, as I was too distracted by the Blue dial to take not of the time..

Today's been a good day, as I was able to ride one of by bikes for the first time in almost a year. Back home to celebrate I took this photo... red and green ?? Looks good to me smile

So I sold my Submariner Ceramic (thanks, Dom) and have bought a SKAGEN Mono Titanium Ancher Special Edition as an interim measure.

Just realised that at home I have a long unopened box with.........

One of these.... from about 1978 (7th birthday present!)

One of these (13th birthday present!)

And one of these (16th birthday present!)

I'd completely forgotten about them.

Silly I know but I am very excited to go and dig them out and get them going again.

So MANY memories!!
How come you sold the sub? I thought it was a thing you were going to look back at as an old man and smile?

Not mine, but I got to try the new Air King on last weekend. I'm tempted, and I'm not a Rolex fan.

Cool. They're quite collectible these days and worth a surprising amount of £.

And here she is!

Bought for me by my Dad for my birthday 30 years ago and worn from 15 to 25. Present at O levels, A levels, law exams, passing of driving test and virginity loss!!!

Now cleaned and resurrected on a NATO after 20 years in a box!

Nostalgia.....
