Some of you may have noticed that I've recently been doing some smaller jobs in return for postage and an unspecified donation to our Royal British Legion jar. It's something I do with customers in the shop and back in November I thought I'd extend it online.
I traded the jar in today because it was getting n the full side and got a call back about 5pm with the total. Apparently they usually expect the "year round" pots to hold around £30 - £40 in coppers and loose stuff when emptied and were very pleased with our last one which reached £101.
This time the total was £180.42! At a guess, just over half of that was down to your good selves (and it was those notes that were making it hard to get more coins in!)
So thank you very much indeed
