2 months ago I bought a Pebble Time for £89.99 on Black Friday.

When it arrived I was a little disappointed with its small size and lack of premium feel.

My normal watches are G-Shocks, Seiko's and Momentums.

Having seen how easy it was to scratch the coated metal bezel I applied a skin kit to keep it mint.

The kit covers the screen and bezel, it is fitted in the picture, you can barely notice it.

Stock strap was a resin and its rubbish, replaced by a monkey swag NATO strap = very comfy.

Setting it up was easy, but the Bluetooth took about 3 goes to connect the 1st time, now its 1st time every time.

Notifications are reliable and fast, way better than the Sony SW2 I tried 2 year ago, that went back with in a week.

Gripes, it pretty much is just a notification device, its very limited vs the Android wear devices.

A small additional drain on the phone battery, but that is countered with not have to power on the display of the phone to see who the email or text is from.

It is no good as a dress watch, or rough working, My Seiko Monster and G-Shock GX-56 King take those crowns

But its strong suit its its utter reliability to deliver the notifications, a 5 day battery, and yes, you can reject calls via the watch, useful for the pesky PPI companies, its for wearing at work when you want minimum distraction from your phone, but still need to know what emails and texts you have.

I now have a hankering for the Moto 360 gen2 as I have been bitten by the Smart watch bug, as it has more functionality, and can do both work and be a dress watch too.

I have a Moto and have decided the smart watch thing is more nuisance than anything.
It hardly gets worn these days.

I have a lot of situations at work where I can't go fishing my phone out all the time to check what the email/text is, my pebble is a huge time saver.

Got a Sony SW2. I tend to find it useful when playing sports - I can check for important texts/calls. Other than that, I just leave it on my desk. Has about a 5 day battery as well. Can charge it up in the car while driving to the tennis court. smokin
