I really like the look of the Navitimer and have been doing some research online as well as going in to the Breitling boutique in Westfield to take a look.

It has come down to 3 watches for me, and I was hoping someone could provide a reasoned argument as to why one of the three is a standout above the other two?

1 - Navitimer 01 Limited Edition (AB012312/G756)

One of 2000 made, although would have to buy used as I want the off white face on a leather strap and they discontinued that specific model last year. In house movement which appeals to me as does being a limited edition.

2 - Navitimer GMT - (AB044121/G783)

A very similar watch to above, I think? In house movement but not limited. Rather than a used purchase, it would be new. Being new is more attractive and it's available which helps!

3 - Navitimer World - (A2432212/G571)

A really nice watch, and a bigger diameter at 46mm than the Navitimer 01 which appeals. I also like the numbering/colours. However, not an in house movement or limited... but the cheaper of the three.

So in summary, watch 3 IMO is the better looking of the three (marginally) but is not limited or an in house movement. If I bought it I think i'd feel like I had a worse product than the 01 Limited Edition which is a great looking watch but not quite as good as the World. But, the 01 is limited with an in house movement.

Watch 2 is almost a compromise. Brand new, in house movement but not limited. I think i'd rather have the 01 or the World rather than be stuck in the middle.

I'm not sure why an in house movement is so attractive to me, but it is.

Sorry if the above post is a bit elementary, but all opinions are welcome and appreciated.

03 the best looking

Tough, yet nice decision to have

Pretty much my thoughts. I am still no closer to making that decision.

I'm not a fan of any of them if I'm honest (dials are too fussy and cluttered but thats my taste) but the 01 would be my choice for the simple reason it will be easier to shift in future and IMO is the best looking.

If they were only discontinued last year you would probably be able to find a new one somewhere if you hunt round.

Based on your comments clearly only the 01 would work for you.

Common feedback from other people who have seen the pics. A very busy face - which I agree with. But, I can't help but like it!

I wish I could find one and have shopped around but need to persevere.

There's a new one with off-white dial in stock here:

Thank you.

Is there a difference between that watch and the pic of the 01 I posted other than the red date marker?

I really want the leather strap with the red date marker. Maybe i'm being too fussy.

I just used the reference code from your first post and did a Google search and a Chrono24 search. So if you can find the reference code for the exact version you want then you'll be able to find one with a Google search.
