Purchased a new Heritage BBB on the weekend and absolutely love it. Its my first watch and would like to buy some additional straps, currently liking the look of black and grey Natos and these leather ones:-

https://bulangandsons.com/product/bs-caramel-brown...

What websites should i be looking at for quality Nato straps?

Also, I guess I will be needing a metal spring bar tool, so I can interchange the straps. Can anyone recommend one in particular and where I should get it?

Thanks for your help.

Try Timefactors or Monkeyswag for the NATOs. I prefer the quality of the Timefactors ones but Monkeyswag have a more varied selection.

If you've not done it before, masking tape helps avoid the scratches on the lugs too.

Hey dude

B&S make amazing straps... However have a butchers at Steveo, maybe a leather NATO?

You can't go wrong for the price, and he is a top guy.

Thanks for the great suggestions, have the Bergeon tool and will be going for the Steveo leather and Timefactors Nato when the store is working.

Tape the lugs with electrical tape (not masking tape - to0 much adhesive) when changing a strap...helps prevent gouges and marks

How did you get on with changing your straps OP? I bought a BB recently too and fancy doing the same thing. I've got a couple of NATO's kicking around alreeady but like the look of the Steveo's leather one. I am a bit worried about damaging the case / lugs / springbars though.

Spring Bar Tool is still in its packaging at present!

Mainly been down to the fact that I hadnt been able to purchase the Nato from Timefactors due to the store being down and because the Steveo straps are made to order and take up to 14 days. However the Steveo strap should be with me by the end of the week, will keep you posted how it goes.

Found it a bit of a fiddle to start with then watched this video and it was fine:-

I understand why some people only leave it to dealers though for fear of scratches etc. I taped it up heavily with electrical tape to protect from this.

Really pleased with how it looks on a leather nato!

That looks great! The one I've gone for is a little lighter in colour I think. I'll get my pics up when it arrives. Glad you managed it without damaging the case. Did you use the original springbars from the bracelet to secure the NATO?

Got round to changing mine this afternoon. The pliers weren't as useful as the Bergeon tool to be honest and I may send them back. Here's mine on a Watchgecko Italian Leather "vintage Rolex" Strap
