I sold my 2014 Explorer 1 today. Not been wearing it of late, but now it's gone I think I might be regretting it. Time to start looking for solace elsewhere in the watch world. Anybody else sold of late.

Sold a TAG Heuer Spirotechnique just before Christmas and shipped it lucky insured mail from here in the Netherlands to the buyer in the UK. Watch arrived at the UK Mail sorting office and then "goes missing"........ Buyer was very understanding and I eventfully got the insurance money.

Today traded two watches (Sub 16610LV and Sea Dweller 116600) for a grail Sub (116619LB). Very happy.

Just listed my Zenith El Primero Original 1969 on ebay... Not sure if I'll regret it!

Need to fund my 106 XSi rebuild project and keep it cost neutral to please Mrs9.

I imagine my Tag Heuer F1 Chrono (Renault F1 Ltd. Ed.) and either my Coke GMT II or Sea Dweller will need to go before the car rebuild is complete frown

I know what you mean, had the wheels refurbished on the Z and would like a bit more noise out of the 3.0 so a back box looks a decent bet. It all costs money and as you say it keeps SWMBO from moaning about funds.

Yeah, felt I've chosen a bit between watches and cars the last year or two (hence why I've been quiet in this sub-forum) now I'm 'settled' and cars are where my heart is!

The last watch I sold was my Longines Legend Diver last year, though with a recent rather hefty Lotus related bill and looming redundancy the half dozen in my watch box that get little or no wear will be off soon. They serve no purpose sitting there so it's pointless hanging on to them.

I think that's the rub; if they're sitting in boxes (mine haven't seen day light since we moved house 9 months ago) then they're on the block when a big bill comes in frown

Was not to bothered with the Explorer as it kept its value even a small increase for what I paid for it last year, but when they do not see the light of day for a month, it is a waste

Longines HydroConquest. Had it nearly two years but never really gelled with it. Now thinking of shifting a Cartier Tank to fund a Roadster

Took a deposit on the Zenith so it looks like it has gone!

Will see how I feel on Wednesday, after it has found its new home!

Will make sure I've got one or two left for the kids (if Lucy has her way)!

I would just buy another without selling the original.

Breitling Avenger Blacksteel Chrono and Porsche Design Flat 6. Got over it by adding a Bell & Ross BR02 to the collection smile
