My watch was previously running fast by approximately 5 seconds per day however after a knock it is now running more than 10 seconds slow each day.

Any ideas what is likely to be the problem?

The watch is less than a year old so I don't really want to get it serviced. Would getting it regulated work?

Cheers

If you bought the watch less than a year ago from an authorised dealer, take it back and ask them their opinion.

Getting a non-authorised person to regulate it will void the warranty.

Thanks Paul

Just went into an AD and they are going to send it back to TAG Heuer under warranty.

I may have left out the fact that I may or may not have knocked it!

Oh yes it will be difficult for them to tell. There may be no signs at all if there are no external marks and all he has done is move the regulator weight slightly on its slider. This is all they do when they set the speed, after all. The fact that it works normally and is only slightly out of time suggests that there is no real damage.

Well I would still rather send it back to TAG to ensure warranty isn't void even if it turns out to be a simple fix
