Recently dug out my Tag Heuer 6000 quartz, which was a 21st present from my parents. It’s in working order but hasn't been worn in a long time so requires a new battery and I would like to get the case restored as it’s a little scratched, and the bracelet cleaned up. Can anyone recommend a shop in London (preferably SE or central) that would do this for me? Goldsmiths quoted me £80 just to change the battery which sounded excessive.

This guy http://chronomatic.com/workshop.html - used to be known as Heuerboy, does quite a bit of Heuer work - based in Cobham last I heard - might be a bit far out for you though?

Thanks for the suggestion - bit of a trek for me, but could make a excuse for a drive out. Would prefer someone more local though!
