Are Pateks worth the money?

I'm in the can afford one but see absolutely no appeal in any Patek model at all bracket- simply put visually they do absolutely nothing for me and I would never buy a watch I did not like the look off.
AP, Breguet, VC (in that order) would be my choice at this sort of level.
