Just started to get the 'want' for a divers watch and these look like good value.

I saw one review which said the lugs are very straight instead of angling down, does anybody have any experience and feedback on how they wear please?

I have an Ocean 500 and I wear it more than the Seamaster Chrono that used to be worn all the time. It is a light watch, and despite size it feels comfortable. Looking at it, the lugs are quite flat but I've never had any issue

I have an Ocean One and it wears very comfortably. It is larger than a Sub.

Looking at these or an Orange monster.

Anyone had/have both and which do you prefer?

I've got the OVM Mk2 as my daily and it's very comfortable. I've certainly not had any issues with the lugs. It has the look and feel of a much more expensive watch but cheap enough not to worry too much if you knock it.

Just to close this out, I am now happily wearing a Steinhart Ocean 1 Black. I was going to go up to Chronomaster to try some on but thought the cost of returning the watch if I didn't like it was going to be slightly less than a 3 1/2 hour drive each way! So ordered at 14:00 on Thursday and it arrived at 10:00 on Friday.
First impressions are very good, very well finished and a good solid weight to it, and for me anyway the concern over the lug length is not an issue, perhaps my wrists aren't as skinny as I thought smile .I managed to adjust the bracelet without any difficulty but have ordered a leather strap for every day use. So on the whole very happy indeed. Thanks to those who offered advice thumbup .

They're good value.

Similar (although some will hate this) in spec and quality to Christopher Ward's watches, but at the price point CW used to occupy.

Only downside I found is that the Ocean One (I had an Ocean Black with the DLC coating) tries TOO hard to look like a Rolex, so always felt (to me) like a wannabe watch. If that doesn't bother you, there's not a lot not to like (aside from the rather slow and unresponsive ordering process via the website).

I have an Apollon, which can't be accused of trying to look like anything else and it's a firm favourite (although the looks do divide opinion! biggrin). It's got 300M WR, but isn't a diver.

I must admit I like the Ocean One but went for the OVM as it didn't have the date bubble and standard Rolex style hands. I've not had anybody ask me if mine is a Rolex before but suspect they might with the Ocean One if that bothers you or not.
