Where can I get the new Ceramic Daytona?!

Ha, well at the moment I'm 80/20 in favor of keeping, the combining factors of it being a bit of a headache to try and sell privately along with the fact the watch is so aught after and it is a privilege to own, means I am likely to keep it, however if I was offered a decent price with a stress free transaction, who knows?

I'll offer you list price even though it's 2nd hand, so you are not out of pocket, stress fee also, I'll transfer the money up front, when can I pick it up ?

Hope the OP doesn't mind me reviving this thread for an update on my own trials and tribulations, I went to the Rolex store yesterday to try get an update from the manager who took my number and said I'd get one in the next delivery but he wasn't in.

I had some minor chit-chat with one of the sales men there and he took my number and actually opened an excel spreadsheet on the computer! There IS a list! Infact, he told me there are several lists, depending on your importance I guess. He said they often get between 1 and 6 Daytonas every couple of weeks and each time they get one in they dish them out to whoever is at the top of each list...unless the owner of the franchise decides to take them all for his own friends, like he has done the last couple of deliveries according to the sales man) the kicker is he couldn't find my phone number on any list but assured me the General Manager probably has me on a different list (probably the "never going to get a Daytona" list ).

I wouldn't mind but it is for my son to inherit, he was born this year and I want a new birth year watch for him with my name on the reciept.

So far ive bought three Rolex's to pass onto my son. Allways a great excuse. To be honest he can have everything i own.

Ahh, ok, makes sense. There was one in Edinburgh watch company one of my friends was saying but not sure what the situation is with it but I'll ask next time I'm passing.
