Fun time trying on watches

I always wonder when I see one why the big screws aren't aligned in some way though, they are just in there randomly so look awkward in my eyes. I'd prefer they match the direction of the part of the dial they are on, or all horizontal.
I've got a Bell & Ross which often prompts similar comments! My take on it is, the screws are done up until they're tight, so they may be aligned differently. If They were all done up to the same alignment, they might be over- or under-tightened.I'm sure there is a reason for me being wrong though.
OP, out of the ones you tried on, I quite like the Hublot too! I mean, the price and lack of in-house movement in some of their pieces is enough for me to look elsewhere, let alone the hundreds of special edition pieces made specifically for various sports stars. However the Big Bang design is rather modern and interesting - A bit like Linde Werdelin.
I tried a few watches on back in January, in preparation for my 30th Birthday. Alas, I went and bought a faster car instead! However I've found my next piece.

As others have said, it's a Glashutte Original PanoInverse XL ... 42mm diameter, manual wind, white gold hands, grey Louisiana alligator strap with deployant clasp, hand engraved/decorated bridge. RRP is £8600, although the watch can be found for c.£7K. There is also a thick bezel variant too.
I didn't try on the PanoMaticInverse, but the 'matic' addition for GO models usually suggests an automatic movement. The PanoMaticInverse utilizes precious metals for the bridge and as such, is different in terms of colour combinations. I'm not so keen on it, to be honest!
Comparison of both, although the manual wind Inverse XL doesn't look particuarly stunning here. Much better in real life! Also check out Google Images for better shots of both watches:

Well after a lot of searching about, I've finally selected my watch of choice. I had originally intended on getting the "bumblebee" version but actually think the Rose gold version will wear better with both a suit (for work) and casually.
Whilst the yellow / black version was very nice, it did have a bit of a "toy watch" feel to it as the yellow was quite strong.
Anyway, opinions always welcome but I'm happy with my choice

this x1000 I cringe at the thought of going to try a watch on when I have no intention of purchasing anything, however, whipping the phone out and taking pictures of them as well? Even cringier!Fair play to you though if you don't care...ps pull the stickers off them next time and report back what the sales staff say
