I would just go to a watch shop and ask them to get you one.

Not true, I AM in the middle east and have called every dealer including people with contacts directly at the Rolex dealers in Bahrain.

Only last week I called Omans ONLY dealer and they have 50 people on the list and added me to it, you're thinking of the old Daytona. Nobody has the new Ceramic Daytona here. Trust me, I'm checking on a weekly basis in Abu Dhabi, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Dubai.

z4RRSchris might perhaps be getting confused with the previous version Daytona. As Mansell Tash says the shortage of ceramic SS Daytonas is worldwide.

Omans only Rolex dealer is who I spoke to on [phone]

The sales lady said they've had a couple in but so far they've gone to the dealer and VIP customers, then there are over 50 people on the waiting list for them.

Qatar Dealers have politely told me that they have a list and they'll put me on it, when I enquired where I was on said list, they told me they cant confirm (bullstting basically).

Everyone in the Middle East is SO bent that the dealers will be offloading them to friends and splitting the profit for sure. I've already been tracking sales on social media of new ones coming up for sale here and going within a few hours.

Incidentally I offered him 400 pounds to put me in touch with someone who has stock, not even to buy one for me.
