Can you help me identify this watch model?
Discussion
Was visiting my dad today after his pacemaker was fitted and the subject of his dad's watch came up. We've googled around and can't find anything that quite looks like it.
It's a Rolex, we think around 1930s possibly earlier.
It was gift my great grandad before the Second World War before he joined the Navy.
My dad wore it from 1957 and it's been in a draw for years. Still works.
My dad wore it with a leather strap which may or may not have been original.
The back is well worn but has the number possibly 6 then 8157 on it
