I've got same PO as the one in that post before mine. Wish I had bought something else to be fair, everyone has one, and I do mean just about everyone and anyone. I don't actually wear it, so I suppose it doesn't matter, but I wouldn't buy another.

As said on previous page, crazy that what I paid 1750 for is now over 3000 - for that money probably prefer to get something that wasn't going to lose money hand over fist.

I've a Seamaster 300M Chrono Diver (blue wave face/ blue bezel version). I think the watch looks great and it's one of the most comfortable to wear from my collection.

I've also got a Seamaster 300 in blue non wave 2016 model that I got from Dom last Christmas (Not as a present). Worn it everyday since getting it unless doing heavy DIY or something where I might damage it and it's perfect for what I want.

I may change it for a planet ocean but thats in the future.

I've had a few Omegas over the years. Bought my first Seamaster in 2001 and wore it daily for 6 or 7 years. Never missed a beat. Then bought a Speedmaster X-33 gen2 and a Speedmaster 1957. Also bought a Speedmaster z-33 and have a Speedmaster co-axial GMT as a daily. In fact, I only have this last one left as the others have made way for house improvements etc! Wish I still had them all.

Either way, the GMT has both a bracelet and the leather strap with deployant. It's a great watch at 44.25mm and smaller on the wrist than the Planet Ocean.

If I had to say which brand was my favourite, I'd choose Omega.

There's a few omega pieces I think are really cool. 2500 planet ocean, speedmaster moon watch, seamaster 300.

Rest of the range is a bit bland.

I must admit Omega bracelets are far better made than Rolex.

I have one of these as my daily (always thought the black face looks nicer than the blue)

and one of these, although it does not get much wrist time...

I really love Omegas, I'm a watch fan but not a real expert, but it does seem to me that people buy Omegas because they love the model or styling. If you ask the average Omega wearer which model is on their wrist, they will tell you exactly, where a large number of Rolex owners won't be able to tell you, because all they care about is just the name.

My only issue with Omega is some of the 007 models are just tat I'm afraid, and I can't really take a wearer seriously!

I am considering getting one of those too, my blue face doesn't match some of my cashmere jumpers, like my red one for example.

I have a blue 300M, at one point I owned 2 rolex's and 3 omegas, I sold all of them and kept the 300m. Much preferred the steel bracelet on the Rolex's, more comfy and you can micro adjust them, but I actually preferred the Omega to all of them. It is my only watch now. I have a pic somewhere of the look in comparison to Rolex, imo it just looks better too.

You cant be serious. Unless you're referring to old Rolex bracelets not the latest generation. And the clasp, Rolex pisses allover Omega in the clasp game.

Surely Rolex is just a stter brand because they sponsor cars and boats and sports and stuff.
