Hi
Does anyone have any experience of the Anonimo brand?
Recently came across the Nautilo (Bronze/Blue on Blue Rubber) and really like it.

Never come across the brand before so interested to hear any experiences.

They use to be well regarded but were bought out in 2012/13 I think and moved to Switzerland and shut up shop in Italy. There was the old story of the watch makers being the ones left behind when Panerai moved shop in the 90's, but I don't know much of that is true.

Now some of the designs seem to be a bit questionable when compared to some of the older stuff they did.

That is nicely put. Without the logo I would not have know they were Anonimo. I would envisage the resale value of the current range will be terrible.

There have definitely been some owners on here. I remember seeing some ages ago on here and really liking them.

I didn't even realise this were still making watches until I saw some on hte Jura website.

The new models don't look very appealing. The older stuff was nice, though.

I could think of many watches I'd prefer for the money.

I had one of the older ones and it was a really nice piece - well finished and a little different. The new new ones are *too* different for me though.

Both bought pre-owned & both depreciated quite a bit during my ownership.

I still own these two & Anonimo is one of my favourite bands, however I would recommend you buy second hand (these are the BMW 7 series of the watch market) & buy old 'original' style.
