Yes - you don't need a winder. If you are wearing the watch every day it will remain wound. Even if it does run out of steam it's not like it has a calendar complication that needs resetting. Btw I think the original free winder may have been tongue in cheek.

To be honest I have never seen a compelling argument either way but I saw an opportunity to inject a bit of panto and couldn't resist. If anyone could set me up for a, "he's BEHIIIIIIND you" I'd be grateful.
