Rolex Explorer II Polar (incoming)
Discussion
In the long term, I'm sure the 40mm polar dial will out perform its 42mm equivalent. But no one has a crystal ball.Recently, the price of the old aluminium Submariner 16610LV Anniversary model is out performing the newer ceramic 116610LV. I've got an Oysterquartz tucked away I bought for relatively little, and I'm just waiting for the prices to start rising.

Yep
Love the OQ - I nearly pulled the trigger on a SS/18k one a couple of years back, they are so retro!I've just bought a 2013 Polar Exp2, 42mm which I really love, the bracelet is much better than the previous model, although i would definitely have gone for the Polar Exp2 40mm if i didn't already have a 1999 16610
