Im not a watch guy but .....
Discussion
I've not worn a watch for about 6 -7 years now as I broke my last and never got to replacing it. I'm now fancying a new one and have basically zero knowledge. Not fussed if I buy now or wait for a bit but would like it sorted before July next year as I'm getting married and my girlfriend thought it would be nice to have the watch as a nice present to myself.
Id like a watch to wear everyday and also something that isnt too much for everyday wear. I'm almost office based so wouldn't get wrecked but need to be able to wear it without it falling apart.
Ive narrowed it down to either a Aquaracer which i can get one from the outlet at York for a decent price (£1200) or a Tudor black bay which i can get 25% off at Goldsmiths via my work plus anything i could negotiate off.
My heart says Tudor as i think its a great watch and seems a bit different
Thanks in advance

Now I need to work out how I can get the cash together to buy it I guess. I'd hoped for 0% but I cant get it if I'm having the discount via work.
lol"Too many people are buying things they can't afford, with money that they don't have... to impress people that they don't like"
No offence.
You can always count on one.....
Just to clarify i don't want to impress anyone, but fancy a nice watch for myself. I nearly got one 2 years ago for my 30th but ending up with a new bike instead. Do people actually get impressed by a £2k watch more to the point.
And without sounding like a powerfully built director , i can easily afford to buy outright but my current mission is to be mortgage free in the next 6 years so all my cash has gone towards saving for that (oh and our wedding/honeymoon). But thanks for your concern its duly noted.

I know the Tudor is the correct choice so thanks for confirming . Now I need to work out how I can get the cash together to buy it I guess. I'd hoped for 0% but I cant get it if I'm having the discount via work.
I got a 27 month interest free credit card from the Post Office to buy my Omega. You can get interest free and the discount that way. Nothing wrong with buying on credit if you can afford it. I can pay mine off immediately but if somebody's going to lend me at 0% why not take it and earn with your money in the bank? Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
