Afternoon all.

I recently bought a breitling chronomat that has a highly polished bi-metal bracelet.

I use it as a daily wear and its bloody hard to keep clean with the polished metal picking and showing up grease and blemishes really easily.

Are there any tips or techniques for a quick and regular clean that will keep it looking its best?

Thanks in advance.

A metal polish appropriate for stainless steel and a cloth. You can't really make a mistake here.

I wouldn't do it too often though, and anything deep should be left to Breitling at the next service.

Don't polish it, just give it a light scrub with a nailbrush or similar to get any crud out. Scuffs are just patina.

On a high polish watch like most Breitlings the scuffs are not a good kind of patina.

Mine is in the box as I've replaced it with a rubber strap.

I have two watches with polished centre links (SS GMT and bi-metal Daytona) wouldn't use a nail brush or similar on the strap as this could add further small scratches.

I use a polishing cloth (gently) and wince if I see anything that looks like a scratch.

If you feel that way you should leave the thing in its box.

^^ The watches get plenty of wear, I just like to be careful.
I also drive my car so that the near side doesn't rub against hedges along the side of the road, doesn't mean I should leave it in the garage.

Gently following the grain shouldn't do any harm?
