Nomal... thats a £61k Wrist!
Sorry I guesss I misunderstood the question by OP, just wanted to show my collection , its modest compared some guys on here. I have built it over some time trading and re trading watches .

The biggest outright cost was the Yachtmaster II I have coveted that for some time, I know it's marmite but I like it !!
What did you think the OP and thread title meant out of interest?

Every day watch
Steinhart OVM Mk2. (Affordable and one I use everyday now)
https://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/diver-watch/oce...

Dress watch
Longines master collection. I have a soft spot for these. Classic looks and nice with a suit.
http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/Longines-Master-Collec...

Travel watch
Nice JLC with world time complication
http://www.chrono24.co.uk/jaegerlecoultre/--master...

One for the office
I love this watch. It’s less fussy and less blingy than a lot of the Breitling collection. I stop and stare at this every time I’m in town.
http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/Breitling-Transocean-C...

Iconic watch
This is easy for me. The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. There’s plenty of iconic watches and any fan should aspire to own at least one but this is the standout one for me.

http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/Omega-Speedmaster-Prof...

£380
£1730
£8,418
£6,530
£3,340
Total £20,398

OK, just over budget but I already have the first one biggrin

Agree with previous poster- need a lot more than 20k for a good 4-5 watch collection.
Classic Pistonheads.
Indeed, what these people need is some creativity and intelligence. If you can't find 4-5 nice watches for 20k you are seriously lacking.

One could argue the same with the 100k Garage...... I suggested £20k.. As I think for most this is a realistic achievable number...

Good idea for a thread! I thought I would have no problem sticking to £20K, but I can think of a few more that didnt quite make it! No tourbillon watches could be included without wiping out everything else.

The bottom three are ones I already own.

CWC 1970s reissue
£1500 - new

Tudor Snowflake. 1970s.
£6000 - used

Tudor Oysterdate Chrono (big block panda). 1990s.
£4500

Junghans Meister Chronoscope
£1650 - new

Nomos Tangomat Datum. I have a very similar watch to this branded Rodina, which I am really pleased with.
£2680 - new

TAG Heuer Monaco "McQueen".
£3500 - new

Bulova Accutron II Snorkel
£200 - new.

Here's a few that I own, but I would want to include.

Breitling Cockpit Chrono. Late 1990s.
£1500 - £2000 - used.

Bulova Accutron. Late 70s/early 80s. This is my favourite watch.
£150 - used

Strela. Remake of the late 50s Soviet air force chronograph and used by cosmonauts.
They sell for about £500-£600 now, but they were only about £150-£200 when I bought mine. A Speedmaster would be more in keeping with the thread, but I honestly prefer this.

I am a couple of K over budget. If I am forced to eliminate one it would be either the Monaco or my Breitling Cockpit.

Ok....I can't think of anything Japanese that I would prefer more than what is already in my list, but we need to remove the Monaco and replace with Omega Flightmaster 910. Forgot about this. I think I will also have to remove the Breitling Cockpit or we are too far over budget now.

This is hard.

Around £4500. 1970s.

Great collection there - love those watches you've chosen. The only change I'd make would be to replace the Monaco and the Bulova with a Grand Seiko (either a snowflake or GS Diver) although they're probably a few £hundred more than the combined price of the Monaco and the Bulova.

Cut the quote down to save posting all the pics again, but just to say, you have a good taste in watches. Couple on there for me to hunt down!

IWC Big Pilot IW500201 to me it is THE pilots watch. £6000 2nd hand.

5513 to me THE divers watch, here is a pic of mine, I paid £4995 but no idea of current value so going to work to that price smile

Mk2 racing dial Speedmaster, because the Speedy is the ultimate chronograph, to me, and I like orange things! I wear all my watches so condition is less important than to,some so will say £2000.

Bell & Ross BR03-92 Carbon of some description or another, I love how a new brand did something so different and I love the watches, would buy 2nd hand so £2000

PAM00000 because I LOVE them, if I could only have one watch it would be this one. £3500

TAG Heuer 1000 from the 80s for retro love and gardening, £600

Thanks, I've spent quite a while on watch forums over the past few years, lurking mainly, but I usually make a mental note when I see something I like. A pity I can't justify splashing out £20K on such trinkets!

Honourable mention should go to the Speedmaster Pro panda dialled, which narrowly missed out in favour of the Tudor panda.

I think the Junghans Meister Chronoscope is a bit of a bargain and I can see it getting added to my collection one day. A couple of years ago they were going for about £1350.

Cheers, which one? Interestingly (well I think so hehe) they both have a connection to space as an earlier version of the Accutron movement was used in the Gemini and Apollo space capsules. The tuning fork technology was much more accurate than the mechanical watches of the time.

I cocked the quoting up there, I meant the Strela. I've never seen one, I had a brief look if any were for sale but it seems to be a bit of a minefield.

They stopped making the movement a couple of years ago so supplies are starting to dry up. I bought my black one first from a watch forum member. I have a white one as well, which I got 2nd hand from eBay about 7 years ago.
