Any idea why lightly used Ceramic Submariners are going for more than the RRP at the moment?

Even Iconic watches are listing new ones for over the RRP.

Is there a shortage or something?

I thought they couldn't make them fast enough, surprised there's a shortage.

They can't, that's why there's a shortage.

Which is surprising given this was opened a few years ago and should have upped production: http://www.rolexmagazine.com/2012/10/inside-rolex-...

There is a theory that Rolex are stifling SS sports pieces to try and alter the market towards the lesser pieces and the precious metals... A couple of AD's I've spoken to, in different countries, are talking this way too.

Why do you say that? I will be back in BKK next week for one day, There was a cool Corum bubble there, that I am deliberating over.

Will most likely be going overseas.

These are now 20% for a USD buyer purchasing in the UK compared with eve of BREXIT vote.

Was in Berlin a couple of weeks ago, with the weak pound everything was £800-1000 more than in the UK.

Sub's are easier to get in the UK at the moment than GMT's amazingly, could get a Sub date for Christmas, mid next year for a GMT.
