Agreed, at around £3k for a 42mm ceramic cased chronograph, what's not to like! Although I don't know how good the 7753 ETA movement is.

Its based on the 7750, so will work brilliantly for years and years and years. It may not be pretty but it's bloody good. My old Seamaster Chrono has the Cal 1164, a modified 7750, it is 18 years old has never been serviced and is still within COSC limits (only just lol)

Just out of interst why would you question how good an ETA movement is?
Are questions not allowed? How else do we learn? smile

Sorry buddy, I was not trying to be stty smile I took your initial question to be slightly pejorative statement smile There are quite a few who look down on ETA movements as being inferior to others.

GMT Master 16700 here as well as an ETA Tudor Pelagos - I'm wearing the Pelagos today.

I'd love a vintage DateJust or Air King to wear on black leather as a dress watch. I love the SeaDweller 4000 but it feels a bit pointless for me to add another diver to my collection.

The blue Heritage Chrono is lovely. Maybe if I let my Fortis B42 go, I can justify it...
I love mine, as mentioned before, I went it to get on the Air King list and get some literature for my sister (was buying her partner a Pelagus) and ended up leaving with this, it works so well on the fabric strap, not sure if I'll ever use the S/S one.

Nice looking watch, go for it. I dithered for a while over my Pelagos but I love it. You won't regret it!

Having owned Rolex in the past, I never even heard of Tudors, when I found them I fell in love with the original pelagos. I sold my Rolex and bought the Tudor.

It's now my one and only watch, it sits nicely on my wrist and is following me through life.

Some people can tell its not a cheap watch, usually ask if it's a Rolex, quickly deflected by...it's a Tudor, so it's very under the radar which I really like.

If I had the money the only other watch I would buy is a new Rolex explorer 1. I will never well the Pelagos tho.

That's lovely. The colours really give it that 70s period look. Tudor have some great designs in their back catalogue, the Monte Carlo among them. I think I'd wear it on the bracelet although it looks great on the striped NATO strap.

No worries, my Cartier Santos has one (so I can't look down on anyone) but I guess they do differing movements as in a range from entry level upwards I think mine is the most basic.

Cheers! I originally wanted a Tudor Ranger on a brown leather strap but I seem to have some weird shaped wrist and just can't get on with straps. No matter how I adjust them I seem to end up with a big gap under the wrist on one side I can stick my finger through!

I really didn't need another bracelet watch but fell in love with the red bezel. I really do think they're fantastic value watches and would recommend them to anyone.
