Like the Omega/TH and JLC keep the suggestions coming smile

Like the seiko as well but cannot understand why they didn't create a luxury version of their brand, having a watch range that goes from £20 to £1000s is not good marketing?

Ah yes the Tourbillon unbelievable that it only mentions it near the bottom of the page, nice looking Watch though.

Well the GS can be classed as a luxury watch.

There are other luxury ranges by Seiko known as Galante and the Credor which again are in the luxury watch range. But these maybe greater than 10k.

Yes I suppose Seiko's marketing is at times chaotic, however I would say that for me I would always take the exquisite craftsmanship offered by Seiko and also at a good price, than the good marketing from a Swiss firm for a watch that may not even have an in house movement.

I dont work for Seiko by the way hehe

Totally!
Just like Canon, who sell cheap P&S and DSLRs before moving on to their high-end stuff, which is branded…er…um..Canon.
Just like Nikon, who sell cheap P&S and DSLRs before moving on to their high-end stuff, which is branded…er…um..Nikon.

Surely it’s not good marketing for Canon/Nikon to be selling cheap cameras/lenses and better built, more expensive ones?
It must be terribly confusing for the consumers?

At this point in time the DeepSea Sea Dweller, is grabbing my attention, would it drop much in value once bought?

Gave £7500 from an AD earlier this year for a brand new one, now feel I got a bit of a bargain.

Astonishing really, fancy the Phontom version but it's £4K more. Might treat myself to this at the end of the year!

A D-blu Deepsea is perhaps the best watch you can buy for residuals -other than a new Daytona at list price.

I was in this situation back in the summer, I went for a new bi metal Daytona (white face) which after discount came in for a smidgen over £10k.

Buy used and you should be fine. I bought a 2010 for £5700 before the price rise 6 months ago.

are you sure ?, watches have not been this big for that long, it's a new trend these clown watch's

I am 6.75 wrist, yes maybe a small wrist but can wear a 34/36mm watch no issue and it looks great.

most wrist shots in this forum look , well bloody stupid imo lol I don't get this massive size watch trend, it has no class and is a bit "look at me" but that's the same with every thing today "bigger is better" and all that.

The AP shot and the Omega Shot while nice to look at, do look a bit daft on the wrist imo.
and do have that "look at me " shout about them !

but then you can never buy class :-)

Never heard of a 41mm AP being described as "looking a bit daft on the wrist", but to each their own I guess laugh

Personally I find a 34mm/36mm wears like a ladies watch on me, which I guess shows it really is down to personal taste.

Not a vast amount no. If you can stomach the horrid blue fade dial on the D-blue then values perform well. I think it looks chav though, and for that money I chose the black face as it's a bit more reserved.
