For me I wouldn't want a watch that I was likely to see another one of every week. To make that easier and the budget go further then I would go used/vintage

2007 AP Millenary will be about £6k, leaving £4k for another toy

or

a glashutte senator, or sixties chronograph, or a 18k Breguet. Lots of choice

I'm the same with comedy sized wrists.

I've had a few Rolex and have always just felt like they looked a bit lost on my wrist. I would love a Daytona but they just look so small.

I've noticed that gold watches look bigger and I think I will own a Day-date 40 at some point in the near future and see how I get on with it.

I bought a Deep Sea a few months ago used and I cant get over how perfect the size of it is. It just looks like a submariner would on a normal person.

When my mates have tried it on it has looked a little oversized.

See how you get on with one of them, I actually liked the normal black faced one more than the Deep Blue and I got one for £3k less than I would have paid for a Deep Blue

Yup, Deep Sea is the one to have with bigger wrists. Nothing else Rolex looks right on me. I wear my black faced one daily, I do have the blue one as well but only worn twice!

I don't think they are going to drop any time soon. I have actually toyed with selling the normal one and keeping the D Blue for everyday, at the moment it just became "the nice one"!
