Nope. They are hideous. i would say they are in the "maybach" of the car world. Ugly. Expensive. But you are letting everyone know you are loaded and probably a bit of a rod.
Ooofff ! I'm just looking at APs.No worries, be a boring old world if we all liked the same.

Aren't all watches like that to a certain extent? how do you decide one is better if they all tell the time pretty much the same? Presumably most watches are an exercise in displaying something or another. just that people place different status on the relative brands.
How often do you see Porsche and Rolex grouped together in photos? Is it because the owner loves both for craftsmanship and materials and the history or just because they're both recognisable and known to be expensive and is a bit vulgar and shallow? Everyone has different reasons for liking stuff don't they?
As you've seen, someone above wants a watch but you assume they're "a rod" for wanting one. Are they just showing off? Who knows? only the person who wants one possibly. Perhaps not even them.

I'd always disliked AP, thought they looked like a sixth form metalwork project from pictures, but then last week whilst cut loose in Selfridges while the wife looked at handbags, I saw one in the flesh and tried it on, and I loved it.
I've also got this , maybe considered more classy.......judge away....

I think that Patek's sports watches and AP's dress watches are very much overlooked in these sort of discussions. I would personally go for this AP...
...over just about any watch made by a maker mentioned on this thread so far and especially so over this gaudy Patek.
.
I think it just goes to prove that if you are suitably selective with your quoting you can prove just about anything on the internet.
Discussing the differences between the top-tier makers is really splitting hairs but in response to the OP (though with less consideration than NeMiSiS's posts).
Patek - Hispano Suiza
Vacheron - Pagani
Audemars - Bugatti
Lange - Rolls Royce
Breguet - Bentley
Moser - Maybach
Parmigiani - Ferrari
Roger Dubuis - Lamborghini
JLC - Bristol
Franck Muller - Corvette
IWC - M/RS/AMG

Does Bremont = Jaguar?
British brand, the plucky underdog, borrowing from others for technology, with steeper-than-the-predictable-alternatives depreciation, but appealing nonetheless?
Bremont wish they were like jaguar. British brand, the plucky underdog, borrowing from others for technology, with steeper-than-the-predictable-alternatives depreciation, but appealing nonetheless?
I can't imagine jaguar lying about what engine is in one of their cars and making up some history and flogging cars with dodgy tie in badges all over them.
