I don't go mad but I have several pairs of Chopard cufflinks (Mille Miglia rhodium & rubber to match my MM & smoked chrome gear knobs).

I'm after a set of non tag branded ones too.

I wear a uniform for work so like nice clothes when I'm off duty.

Had this for some time(nearly two years!) but not got around to wearing it. Took the stickers off last night.

It wasn't a criticism at all, I'm just glad it's not only me that does it. smile

I think the high-end watch houses are slowly coming round to the fact that there is a market for accessories that complement their timepieces. They are slowly becoming more and more popular with varying degrees of success, though I do think cufflinks are the only accessory most men can get away with aside from a watch and wedding ring.

Blimey, I'd hate to see someone who DID go mad.

Hmmm - painful to watch. I came out of my boat altogether and dislocated my shoulder in the process.... was in the water quite a long time too, all of which was entirely my fault. When my chum was killed in a similar accident (his daughter died too), I sold my boat and thought I'd used enough of my luck.

Patek always had them, but I thought the price was a bit wild, even on eBay!!!

Seriously, if you bought a Rolex and didn't get around to wearing it for TWO YEARS! Then you really did buy the wrong watch. A Rolex should be a special once in a lifetime purchase.

I bought my Rolex (a stainless GMT) new back in 1996 after receiving my first decent bonus, I'm sure I wore it home from the Jewellers and it's been pretty much been glued to my wrist ever since.

I have those ones, except mine are yellow gold. I bought them from an AD years ago, before the silly price hikes so they were a fraction of that price (and new).

I also have a pair of stainless AP cufflinks which were very much an impulse purchase from the same AD. I had never seen any for sale and I haven't seen any since either so I am very pleased I did as I would have always regretted letting somebody else have them.

They are really nice. If they were a half sensible price I'd buy some, not that I ever wear cufflinks or even dress shirts for that matter, But still I really like the PP calatrava cross design.

Well done for buying before the price madness - I sometimes think most of the worlds quantitative easing has gone into luxury watches when I rationally consider the prices sometimes!!

Something completely worthless from a financial perspective but mean a lot personally - this watch, badged prodrive and subaru world rally championship, that I was given as a 12th birthday present by a friend of my parents who purportedly knew Richard Burns well. Found it recently in a drawer and can't help but smile when I wear it!

With a story like that, just drop the "purportedly"!
