Really like the look of these and the way the patina develops. It's a real shame it's 43mm, the sweet spot for me is 40mm. I'd be very very tempted if it was that bit smaller.
Likewise, would have been in the market for one of these myself had they been 40mm.

I'm buying one of these , but it seems kind of wrong?
Surely a watch should be sparkly, whereas this is the opposite..
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder ...
Ordering tomorrow hopefully, will post pics

Note you can get a bronze / blue version but it's only available from one jewellery retailer in Switzerland. Nice though...

No, as tbe ex owner of Breitlings, no!

The bronze is fantastic, saw one on a guy who had quite small wrists yesterday and it still looked fantastic!

I think it's a different quality of bronze but google Panerai Bronzo sea salt water

Sought one, bought one and for the first time ever didn't bond with a watch that I'd lusted after. Sold off quite quickly.

I bought a Steinhart (I know, I know) bronze to see if I'd get on with it, before buying a Tudor. I do; I love the bronze, and the patina, but when I then went to pick up a Tudor, it didn't leap out at me. I think it was the bronze I wanted, rather than the Black Bay per se, and I satisfied that need with a £400 Steinhart instead.

If I'd known I liked bronze before I bought the Steinhart, I'd have got the Tudor and been very happy.

I know what you mean, I have a standard Black Bay that I love, I bought a Bronze one and it sits in my drawer, I have never worn it. Not sure why.

Have one currently on a Yellow Dog dark leather Nato with brass furniture... can honestly say it punches well above its weight in terms of wrist time and comment (from watch folk and non-watch folk alike)....BUT only after wearing very regularly for a while and not worrying (too much) about the fairly bright original shine depleting quite perceptibly..

Mine's a keeper for sure
