Ok chaps let's have a little wager on what the first few sea dwellers will be selling for on the grey market when they are released,I spoke to my AD mate today and he said they have had over 30 calls each day since the release,I don't think it will be the same percentage as the ceramic Daytona's,I don't think a lot of people like it? List price is £8350? I'm thinking around £12,000-£13,000 and Watchfinders will probably be asking £14,000-£16,000 LOL

I think around the 14k mark. They will be more sought after than the D Blue which is around 12.5k unworn on the grey market I think.

It may go nuts if they return to all white text next year and this really is a 50th anniversary special but can't see it happening.

Can you remember how long it took for Daytonas to hit the market last year?
Anyone else got their name down for one?

I think he might be exaggerating a little? I called my AD yesterday and was put on the waiting list - number 6.

Honest that's what he said, and I know the guy well, but I suppose it depends on where you live and he is in a big AD,s? I think there will be a lot of names going on lists but it's the same with the new Daytona's,most people don't actually keep them they flip them,I know I will be at 6k profit!!

Can't see this being as in-demand as the ceramic daytona personally

Unless people presume the red will be a shortish run, not sure we'll ever know if that's the plan until it gets withdrawn / script turns white!

I don't think it wifi be a limited edition with the red writing? For Rolex it's all about the cost to produce? The said the green sub was for the anniversary but they still kept making it??

It looks ugly FFS. I'd buy to sell to some mug. But definitely not to wear

I suppose it just depends if Rolex restrict supply like they have with the steel ceramic Daytona?
If each AD only gets 2 or 3 Sea Dwellers in the first year surely residuals will remain sky high
and they will sell for a premium.......I can't imagine many languishing in shop windows for a very
long time- Rolex wouldn't allow it to happen.....

They are very careful to avoid using the words "limited edition", I think it makes it easier for them to almost create a limited edition from a limited run, if that makes sense?

The kermit Sub kind of reminds me of a Clio Williams, limited run intention but couldn't resist making tiny changes and making more
