Is Chanel a perfume OR quality?

Had a browse at my local jewellers to add another chrono to my growing collection! And at the insistance of the in-house Watch Specialist tried and loved the Chanel J12 Superleggera. Combination of black ceramic and alloy - ever so tasty, but is it just another fashion house fad or is it quality?

I like watches, but im not overly concerned with movements etc, which I guess is why I like my Dunhill watch Watch afficianados will probably look down on it, but I like it, and I would also have that Channel watch.

I really want this!

J12 Superleggera is a great looking watch, but it's too closeley based on the standard J12 for my liking.

A couple of freinds have the J12, one (m) looks a complete ponce, and the other (f) looks good, but then it's covered in diamonds that make it too bling. But, hey pay your money, make your choice etc etc

They are not a tried and tested maker of watches compared to the other marques on the market, a jeweller i spoke to recently reffered to it as a fashion watch which will not stand the test of time as other makes have!! But after looking at a few i have to admit the qaulity looked pretty good and they have some nice designs, the more they sell now will result in how long they stay in the market as a contender to other watch makers. IF YOU LIKE IT BUY IT!!! Dont worry what anyone else thinks!

I bought my wife a white J12 for her birthday as a 'fun' watch for the summer, she loves it. I think the J12 is mare of a fashion watch (than a serious watch) the ceramic feature makes it interesting. I'm not sure I'd want one....
