My wife bought me the Daniel Defoe writers edition Mont Blanc rollerball for my 40th this year. Absolutely exquisite

Just treated myself to one of these Franklin-Christophe 33 and I went for a the black and king's gold, no clip and a customised medium stub nib. I also got their large sleeve to put it in and at the moment that's a tight fit as the leather loosens up
Was shipped within a few hours of ordering and arrived from the US via FedEx in a couple of days and mine slipped through without any UK import duty being applied.
It's really quite an unusual design but with the threads being away from your fingers it's very comfortable to write with and the nib flows very nicely and is not at all scratchy. I also got a spare F nib and will swap that over at some point but at the moment am very happy with the stub.
A 65 Stabilis or an Eclipse 25 is on the list for potential future purchases. So far really enjoying writing with this.

I see, well that's a little far for me to travel, but I think the London Boutiques should have them in stock soon, if not already.
It's a lovely design, enjoy it in good health!
Thank you. It's a lovely design, enjoy it in good health!
I believe they were officially released on 30th June so you should be able to pick one up now.
Was giving one of these as a present and it's not really to my taste? Any idea where to sell or who would buy or swap for a black and white gold version?

Hmm tricky as these get faked quite a lot. You could try over on Fountain Pen Network, but ebay is probably your easiest bet as long as you don't mind selling for less than RRPhttp://www.montblanc.com/en-gb/collection/writing-...
Pencils not pens but I took delivery today of a Rotring 500 and a selection of Uni Kuro Togo pencils.
The Kuru's are amazing in that they cost peanuts and are Japanese engineering taken to a stupid degree i.e. "The lead gets flatter as you write, what can we do?" and whilst mere mortals might have stopped at "Turn the pencil as you write" they went and developed a whole clutch/gear mechanism that turns the lead by a tiny fraction each time it hits the paper.
They cost £4 off Amazon, I ordered them last night, they were delivered today on a Sunday, the world has gone mad in a good way
