Does anyone have an idea of what these might be worth these days ?

I dug one out of a drawer, had to replace the button and put a couple of pins in the strap but it's now running like a dream. Would keep it if I thought I'd wear it, but I prefer something dressier for work and my G-Shock 5600BC (with the metal / resin braclet that I am loving, btw) for the weekends / out and about.

I believe it's from the mid / late 70's, by Orfina using a Valjoux 7750 movement. Black PVD coating has a lovely patina on the body of the watch, but is fairly worn on the 'forward' side of the strap. Dial reads 'pd' above the date window and 'PORSCHE DESIGN' underneath.

Unsure whether to kep it tucked up in a drawer or sell it as it won't be getting much wrist time.

Will post some pictures tonight.

Just sold mine via TZ-UK for £385 incl postage, but it didn't have an original bracelet.

Mine went for a Buy It Now of £500 inside 12 hours.
Should have maybe gone for more, but...

Really nice watches but it'd be a 3rd watch that would see little wear.

Going to try and pick up a Sinn, probably 556 or 656.
Like the look of the 244 but it's probably too small.

whom?

Sorry for the massive thread bump, but where would be the best places to look for one of these watches? I've been keeping my eye on ebay for the past few weeks and the few that have come up seem to be massively over priced.

Thanks, Ross.
