Latest G ... eBay bargain, £35 brand new fully boxes with all papers, not even a single buckle mark on the strap where it may have been tried on

That is definitely worth the price!

I've got one the same as that! I find it a bit difficult to read in low light tbh.

Snap! Same here, slight let down as the lcd is small too, but I'm putting up with it as I'm totally smitten with it haha.

Morning chaps, how long should a battery last on a Solar G? Mine keeps recharging in daylight and then intermittently flashes "low" and then the cycle repeats?

I assume its quick job to replace the battery just making sure the rear plate and seal goes back on properly? Or can I put it under some special bulb to give it a proper charge!

Just 'pulled the trigger' (God, I hate that phrase laugh) on this GA-500P-1ADR to add to my modest collection, in Causeway Bay HK. Was in the window at $1480 and got him down to $950, which is about the right price I think.

Bit different to my other ones but it was a bit of an impulse purchase as they were just pulling down the shutters and I fly home tomorrow night.

Decided I have a need for a purple G in the collection and this came up ... £30 BIN delivered on eBay and couldn't resist, they reckoned it had been used/worn but it didn't show any signs of this at all so not sure if it maybe ex-display or knocked off ?!? Either way a bargain for me and fully packed/tin/box/manuals/guarantees etc...

I quite fancy one of these...

... but G-Shock UK have now confirmed they're not bringing it in although the German distributor will be. Anyone had any dealings with any of the German/mainland Europe retailers that may ship?

does anyone have any experience with the altimeter on a rangeman? I could do with a watch that can give me altitude readings. Cheers.

Looking for peoples experiences.

I have a Mudman and had a Protrek PG80. I use the compass a lot as a geography teacher.

I managed to break the PG80 after many years of service. Now looking for the next ABC watch.

I need a compass and I also want tide function and solar as well.

I am between these two

Protrek PRW2500 Titanium (pratical and like the metal strap, not so much digital looking screen although easy to read)
http://www.casio.com/products/watches/pro-trek/prw...

Or the GulfMan GWN 1000B (Loks cooler, harder to see compass/tide)
http://www.casio-intl.com/asia/en/wat/watch_detail...

Any experience? If the gulfman came in metal i would have it in a shot.

The Gulfman is a nice watch,I had the Blue and black version( both around £230ish ) ,I preferred the blue.i bet the yellow one is even more striking, fits nicely on the wrist

Only reason I sold them is I made a profit on them, and replaced them with a GX56, I bought the black one to flip
