Nor would I pay the premium for what is essentially an AP RO knock-off.

I'd have one of the standard 2100 metal series over any of that lot, regardless of cost.

But to answer the question, zero experience, sorry.

Aren’t the metal ones about 500 from Casio anyway?
Anything from £150 to £500 for a metal 2100 series.

For me though, it's not cost thing.

I think Casio knew what they were doing making them look AP like so that’s fair game IMO
I like the Genta-inspired bezel shape of the standard 2100 design, but bezel screws and AP RO-style straps above are too much for me.

I can see why others would like it though.

Aye, I don't mean that it could be mistaken, it's more that I just don't like very overt "inspired by" style watches, but as I say, I can understand the appeal.

Interestingly, I don't generally like the ROOs, but your version above is cool yes

(Or rather, what was your version - here's hoping you get your paws on another!)

The yellow & black version is a cracker, but I wouldn't be seen dead wearing anything Supreme branded.

Closest I can find is G-6900A-9

Yes, same here, cannot find this one for love nor money!
It's almost the same except it has a yellow dial with black subdials & some sort of print on the strap.
I've googled & searched ebay but no luck so far.
The North Face edition that MrBig mentioned is the closest, just the 'G' button/badge is different.

Me too, did a load of digging and came up totally blank, which is unusual, coz I generally find what I'm looking for.

My guess is that it's a one off / custom / mod piece.

Looking at that strap, makes me think that a brown leather strap would look awesome.

Cracking thing regardless though!

I was all set on a clear version, per the post above, but after seeing the faces on the G-Shock website, I'm underwhelmed.

This one, however, is tempting!

Brilliant observation!

I agree, very Benetton-esque.

I can see why you like it, but overall, those strap conversations just don't look cohesive to my eyes.

I’d be interested in views on customisation.

Sort of Overfinch for G-Shocks.

Nico Leonard pushes IFL on his channel - I like them.
I like them, but they are stupidly expensive for what they are.

You’re paying €850 for painted indices and bezel inscriptions on this, for example.

I feel largely the same. Cracking watches, but don't think I could bring myself to pay that for them.

Whoa!

The promo photos do not do that thing justice.

Love it!

If you ever think of selling the gold one I would be very interested.
I have just emailed you with the link to where I bought it, they are still showing it available at £250 and when they sold out of the silver one, it disappeared from their site.

They said they had 2 when I ordered, so I imagine they only have 1 left at that price.

I am loving it, I normally wear a Rolex Explorer as my daily and that has sat idle since I started wearing this last Thursday.

Good luck
I have the gold metal 5600 as well. It's easily my favourite watch - almost at any money. Almost!

Especially the all metal 5600s.

Just brilliant watches. Fair premium over the standard versions, but very worth it, imo.
