This will be my 3rd, but the other 2 are smaller so i wanted something in the XL range. The GA-100 i'm looking at does not have the reversed lcd (Which I prefer) and the reports say that the red min hand are quite hard to read at night - even with the illumination on.

The illumination isn't great, its just an orangey ring of light given by a small LED, compared to the neon blue displays that we are used to. It's mostly alright, time is certainly readable for the most part.

Good point about the illumination there. I was slightly disappointed by it tbh. It really only makes the hands visible, so it's not possible to read anything from the other displays (stopwatch, for example) in darkness.

I got one of those at the start of the year as well. I do like it, though it can be a bit hard to read at times, which kind of defeats the purpose of a watch hehe
It is big, chunky and cool looking though, which I guess makes it ok!

Just been offered a second chance offer on a GA100-101 (black, black reversed LCD) for £46 +£4 postage so now there is a spanner in the works, I'm just not sure if it's a bit subtle. Does anyone have a wrist shot of one? (on the plus side. Just sold my old G-Shock cockpit on eBay for £51.99 and was only expecting £25 or so!

Finally got one!

Glorious Gold 25th Anniversary 6900 clear jelly. Matches my Frogman version. Very pleased.

Will be after 5600 model now, if anyone sees one available, price not really an issue.

Also picked up an Alife 5500. Nicer than I expected too.

Love that.

I've got one of these on the way, I'm a little worried about how bright the blue is going to be. hehe

Yep Creation, £55 with a code they sent me. Try D09E4 in the promotions box, not sure if it will work for anyone else though.

That code looks like it works for 4% off, just done a dummy run... Makes the GA110 £74.88. What's the delivery times like for creation? I'm looking at it on First Class Watches for £77 with next day delivery.

Not next day, four or five days usually.

I forgot the code. Never mind, good prices as it is anyway. Can't grumble.

Ordered another storage case too.

I think their prices went down overnight! The same watch I looked at last night dropped £8 overnight and with the discount code it's even cheaper so trigger pulled and GA-110 on the way!
