Well there I was surfing the net looking for a 6900SN-3ER, some places selling for £75ish plus shipping but most around £90. So I thought I would try eBay to see if I could snap up a bargin.
Bad idea as I ended up paying £140 for one..... Although it did come with a free gift...
Ok, so it's a prime example of man maths, but made sense to me (and both watches have an rrp of £95/100, so a bargain really). The second watch is a tough solar GRX-5600B-2ER
Collection (of G's) so far...

I have one of these
I bought it when I worked in Siberia, it worked at -45 degC no problem AND the strap didn'[t give you frostbite!
I then used it offshore in the North Sea, pulling completions it used to get well and truly drenched in all sorts of horrible stuff. Chucked it in for a boil wash and tumble dry with my coveralls and it'd come out sparkling everytime.
I haven't worn it in years but G's are brilliant poieces of kit!

That's nice. Good nick too.
It's come from Japan, was sold as new with tags, there isn't a mark or spec of dust on it, so it looks new, very pleased with it.My other Gulfman should be delivered tomorrow, I'll post some pics when I get it.
By the way, blue and red world cup 98 6900's, you seen them?
Yeah it's the same chap selling them, he obviously had two red jelly ones, one with a non working light and one that was fine. i think he does get them from Japanese auctions, so either he or somebody he knows can deal with them okay.
I've used this place for my two gulfmans -

They have given me very good service and mainly deal in Ltd editions and rare G's so their prices can be quite steep.
