Good good. In return if you spot something that may interest me, good jellies etc, let me know.
Will do, you didn't go for the red world cup jelly 6900 in the end?

You should know me better than that!

I gambled on there being no bids and made him an offer afterwards. Will be with me tomorrow.

I am staying away from the Covent Garden Casio shop for a while.

Rising Red Mudman biggrin

My first Mudman and am very pleased with it - I didn't know they had all these functions (not that I will ever use them!). While I have issues with this European versions "poverty spec" (not atomic like the Japanese) I think it looks very sharp.

Excuse nasty phone pics (if you can see them - can't tell if they've uploaded successfully...)

Chatting to the sales guy he told me they had two Rising Red ti Frogmen in - sold them both yesterday!

Guys

I'm after some help! After coming across this thread I fancied some g shock action and bought this:

The problem is the display was switched off when I got it out of the tin (guessing some kind of hibernation mode). I got it out left it by the window for the day. I'm guessing the battery will need charging. But the real problem is that none of the buttons are responding, is this normal, is it just a case of me being patient?

Any I've had that have been 'hibernating' in the box, start working almost straight away. It sounds like you have a problem to me.

Yeah, somethings amiss I'd say, unless the battery was really on its last legs.

Another rare one.

A metallic red 6900

And a metallic purple 5600 with bling screen surround

I will probably give it to my god daughter. Purple and green are her favourite colours, but it is weirdly seductive.

I've still got it on...

I was hoping that wasn't the case. It's still in "ps" mode with the flashing "c". The instructions say to press the adjust button until city code starts to flash and then press the mode button 9 times. None of the buttons respond.

Iv hunted high and low for this one and I only want to send it back as a last resort frown

I have one of those. Subtle it ain't but great fun, like something Run DMC would have worn in about 1985.

I've worn it to the office on occasion nuts

Went into G-Shock east Covent Garden the other day. They've just got a batch of the new Bluetooth models in. It's a real shame my phone doesn't do Bluetooth 4.0 otherwise I'd have got one!

Where the circle barometer is on the left hand side there is a gauge which has l,m,h which one is filled in? this is your battery level if its above l then you should have all the functions. Mines in ps this just turns the display off when it is dark to save battery. On the button part they should be pretty easy to push.

Right after two days the watch lives! The battery must have been properly drained.
The ps was showing with the c. But none of the buttons worked. Now the buttons are working and it's up to the m (medium) setting for the battery power.

I came across this: ftp://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw3145.pdf

which I'm posting up for anyone's future reference.
