Can anyone recommend me a first G-Shock? I am looking for something around 40-42mm and have a budget of around £100. I don't really know where to start looking.

I worked out what features I wanted ( solar/atomic/negative display etc), analog/digital and what colour and went from there.

Just took delivery of this yesterday. After an Amazon discount I only paid £53. First impressions of the watch are very positive!

Having previously dismissed G Shocks as a bit plasticy and cheap looking I found myself looking at a cheap atomic version as something to keep my Autos set to. Picked up this (via TZ forum and a 20% off voucher at Amazon).

Really liking it! Light, comfy and they do seem very solid and well put together for a bit of plastic!

I can't post pictures from work but i've just received a GW-9301K-6JR, the Love the sea and the earth mudman, that is Purple, green, blue and orange. It's not as vulgar in the flesh as it sounds.

Just bought this for work. I have a couple of Breitlings but despite being 'aviators' watches, they are difficult to use airborne and this hits the spot. Lightweight, seems rugged and the display is clear and the controls are intuitive. All in all, a result for £60.
