Why do the ladies get such funky watches.
Damn you!!! I am the owner of the blue GShock 3 posts above, and Mr E kindly forwarded me your link today...... I shall shortly be the owner of 2 G Shocks. I now have 4 watches with 1 pending and this is the first time I've been in this forum section!

I really shouldn't look in this thread as it'll require another post in the "Frivolous purchases" thread too! I don't need another watch.....laugh
NOW I'm looking at the GW-300M-4AER!

I was swaying between that one and the 4000 but chose the latter because I already have a mk1 orange monster and a men in rescue orange gulfman in my collection, so I thought there was too much orange going on!

I just noticed when checking my bank account online that when I ordered a watch the other night in the nigel o hara sale, I accidentally used our joint account debit card frown Now I can't hide the purchase from my missus as she will spot it! (£250!!!)

lol probably. It was the very nice GW-A1100 from the G-shock 'Gravitymaster' range. Normally £500 quid and I've not seen them discounted anywhere before. I would never normally spend that much (about £150 is my normal rough limit) but I just thought the chances of me seeing that at half price again would be very slim, so I went for it.

Thats a good deal. I get official Casio discount and paid £300 for mine so you did well.

So until recently, not looked seriously at G-Shock, turns out I am a bit of a watch snob, without even realising it. They're plastic for christs sakes biggrin

Anyway now that I have overcome my prejudice, I have started to take a serious look at them and i realise I do like them and should really consider getting one to fill a need I have in a watch.

I need a watch that can have multiple alarms set a day. Must be at least 100m WR and preferably Analogue & Digital, although the latter is not a must have.

Thanks

Groupon has an offer on at the moment, G Shocks from £50. I quite fancy the Bluetooth one but it's not solar, puts me off a bit!

My GW4000 had to be ordered from Casio, so once it arrives at Nigel O'Hara's place, it'll get shipped out. Basically they're having to play by Casio's lead times.

If you're concerned, raise a support ticket - their communication is very good

funny you should say that - I raised a ticket this morning as I'm getting a bit nervous. Paid them £250 and not heard a dickiebird since irked My ticket raised at 9am has not so far been answered. I didn't pay on credit card so if they go under I will find them & kill them with fire.
